Well, we have now officially started taking care of Taylor on our own. Martha (Emily's mom) and Melloy (JF's mom) helped get us through the first two weeks including Taylor's first road trip over the 4th of July weekend to Temple,TX to visit Emily's family. He had a great time and got to meet many of his extended family for the first time. We also found out that Taylor loves car rides. He slept for the entire trip down there and back which was especially impressive since I-35 was a parking lot on the way home on Sunday. Thankfully, Daddy Jimmy is a master navigator and was able to get us home using some of Texas' finest backroads, even if it did take an hour longer. Here are some pictures of Taylor's big weekend and if he looks a little bigger, he is! We had his 2 week follow up visit at the doctor's office yesterday and received a great report that he had put on over 11oz. and had grown another 1". Way to go little fella!

Oh good! More pics. I need to see him so bad I can hardly stand it!!! We are going to be up there the weekend of the 19th so hopefully we'll see him then. Love, Aunt Johnna
he has been asking for you to keep him one night so his mommy and daddy can take a little 8 hour nap.
